Randy Gurzi of The Landry Hat suggested trading Samaje Perine to the Cowboys.
The Broncos use the 28-year-old running back as a receiver and third-down back.
Gurzi believes Dallas should sign 5-foot-11, 235-pound Perine due to their red zone inefficiency.
Gurzi writes, “Having said that, Dallas could still use a power back who can push the ball forward and pick up the tough yards.
Since the Broncos will likely be sellers at the October 31 trade deadline, the Cowboys may benefit from a Perine deal.
Since they have two viable running backs in Javonte Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin, the Broncos may trade Perine, who inked a two-year, $7.5 million deal this winter.
Gurzi writes, “At 5-foot-11 and 240 pounds, Perine is a massive player who had six total touchdowns for the Bengals in 2022.
He signed with Denver in the offseason, but they're falling apart and have a younger player in Jaleel McLaughlin who may need more touches.
